Excursions For those who seek adventure there are many options at Mdonya: * Driving through the bush, accompanied by a guide of course. * Dining out in the bush. * Walking Safaris accompanied by a trained Park Ranger. (This can be done between July and January only, because when the rains come and the grass gets high, walking safaris are not possible. Please note that children of 15 years and younger are not permitted to go on walking safaris in the Ruaha.) * Plus other activities designed to guests' needs by Micol Farina and Nick Harris, the experienced Camp Managers. |

Game Drive However game drives are flexible and not limited by any schedule! Guests get a chance to see the breathtaking mosaic of ecosystems, from the river pools to the dry open savannah. There are Baobab valleys and sand rivers fringed with Hyphaene petersiana palms. Monolithic granite boulders dating from the formation of the Great Rift Valley and exposed by erosion litter the area, especially by the Mdonya Falls. |
